All students are strongly encouraged to complete a TB skin test prior to starting class and must submit a copy of their immunization records. These requirements are critical for participation in clinical and externship opportunities, as most healthcare facilities require proof of up-to-date health clearance. Immunization records should include standard vaccines such as MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) and varicella. If these documents are not submitted by the first day of class, the student will not be permitted to attend the next scheduled class until all required documentation is received. Failure to provide this information in a timely manner may delay progression or clinical placement.
