This 4-week hybrid program is designed to prepare you for a successful and rewarding career as a Certified Phlebotomy Technician. You’ll receive comprehensive, hands-on training in venipuncture techniques, specimen processing, and safety protocols. Our experienced instructors will guide you every step of the way, helping you build the knowledge, confidence, and practical skills needed to thrive in clinical and laboratory settings.
By completing this course, you’ll earn the qualifications to:
- Work in hospitals, clinics, laboratories, blood banks, and mobile labs
- Perform venipunctures, capillary draws, and specimen collection confidently
- Ensure patient comfort, safety, and compliance with legal and medical standards
- Become certified and nationally recognized as a Phlebotomy Technician
- Become certified and nationally recognized as a Phlebotomy Technician
Program Details
The training program is hybrid, combining online coursework with in-person labs. Students are required to log into the online classroom daily to complete assignments and access materials .
CMTC provides laptops for rent or purchase if you do not have access to a device.
- Length: 4 Weeks
- Schedule: Thursdays, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM OR Saturdays, 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Program Requirements
- 18 years of age or older
- Valid photo ID
- Valid Social Security Card
- High School Diploma or GED
- Drug screen
- Red or black scrubs
- Closed-toe shoes
- Laptop, tablet, or desktop computer

Completion & Certification
Upon successful completion of the program, you will qualify to take your Phlebotomy Technician Certification Exam through the National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP) – our preferred certification partner. You may also choose to sit for the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) certification exam if desired.
