Hybrid Learning Format

All programs at CMTC are hybrid, combining online and in-person training. You must log into your online classroom daily to complete assignments and stay current with your studies.

Certification & Completion

Upon successful completion, you’ll be eligible to sit for the Surgical Technologist Certification Exam through the National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP) – our preferred/default certification partner. Other certification options may be available based on your career goals.

Applicants to the Surgical Technician Program must submit a written/typed essay of at least 200 words, Applicants may choose to write their 200+ word essay on why they want to become a surgical technician, their strengths and challenges, their commitment to healthcare, or how teamwork and professionalism will help them succeed in the field which will be reviewed by a selection panel. 
Those whose essays are approved will be invited to attend an in-person interview as the next step in the admissions process. 
Final student selections will be made no later than two months prior to the start of classes to allow adequate time for preparation and onboarding.
